May US CPI is 314.069

The US Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) was recently released at 314.069, marking a 3.3% increase compared to May 2023's figure of 303.363. This is a slight decrease from April's inflation rate of 3.4%, but it still remains well above the Federal Reserve's target of 2%.

The CPI for June will be released on July 11th.
